The Mind of Guerrilla - Selected Works (2019)
The “Mind of Guerrilla” pop-up is a two-week art installation curated by Guerrilla FC. It’s a sensory exploration of the eclectic components of culture that drive and inspire the diverse community of creatives that is Guerrilla FC. Select works by Magee McIlvaine were included as part of the installation, curated by Ruben Gzirian. The selected photos explore daily life in Dakar, Senegal, and especially focuses on and builds around Stade Senghor, the primary soccer stadium in Dakar. The stadium serves as the visual center of the collection of photographs, with other elements of daily Senegalese life stretching out from it. More info on the installation here.

Latela Curatorial X Industrious - Scapes (2019-2020)
Latela Curatorial is pleased to exhibit local artist Magee McIlvaine at the Industrious Ballston office. The collection of photographs represents a portion of a larger photographic series exploring “scapes.” These scapes blend between urban and rural, natural and man-made, with room for experimentation in collage and mixing images together. They represent both the local and the global with images from Washington DC, Caracas, Cape Town, Dakar, Joshua Tree, Sao Paolo, Iceland, and Italy.
This exhibition is curated by Latela Curatorial. All artworks are available for sale. A reception and artist talk will be held at Industrious Ballston.
